When you take normal ascorbic acid, or any vitamin C created in a lab, it makes the body very acidic lending the possibility of arthritis to show up. This Vitamin C is completely natural and doesn't cause the body to become so acidic. When I had CoVid, I downed this by the handful - about 8000mg - don't go beyond tolerance - that's quite a lot. But thank God I had it in the house, I was in no mood to order. Awesome product
